What more could you ask for ?

I've got a girl, a 6 pack'o'beer and the S.T dvd........ I think I'm staying in for the night.

"Working on a sex farm, Trying to raise some hard love, Getting out my pitch fork, Poking your hay, Scratching in your henhouse, Sniffing at your feedbag, Slipping out your back door, Leaving my spray
Sex farm woman, I'm gonna mow you down, Sex farm woman, I'll rake and hoe you down, Sex farm woman, don't you see my silo rising high?
Working on a sex farm, Hosing down your barn door, Bothering you livestock, They know what I need, Working up a hot sweat, Crouching in your pea patch, Plowing through your beanfield, Planting my seed
Sex farm woman, I'll be your hired hand, Sex farm woman, I'll let my offer stand, Sex farm woman, don't you hear my tractor rumbling by?"

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Belated Valentines Day Everyone. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Home ............ SUPRISE

Hey Y'all, so I got home on Wednesday morning at 8am, Fi arrived back after 3 weeks in Vietnam at 9am, we were both exhausted but she had organised a 57 Chevy to pick us up and drive us home, champagne and all, 9 hours late for Valentines day but still perfect. It's good to be home but feels a little strange, I cant get used to the heat. I've kept it a secret from everyone as my mum doesn't know and we are suprising her at her birthday dinner tonight. HA HA HA.... anyway. Home at last. The flight from San Fran to Hong Kong was 14 hours, Ouch, then 3 hours from to Singapore after a 1 hour delay due to the plane having a "sticky circuit breaker" hhhhmmmmm... then I had an unfortunate 8 hour stop over in Singapore, which ended up being ok as the airport does free 2 hour tours of the city, including a boat ride up the Singapore river, although 35 degrees was a bit much. So I'm home. Those in Oz can buzz me on my mobile from Monday onwards. Those of you in the States, thanks for a really fun almost 6 months.

Home from New Orleans

Hey all, we just got back from a crazy week in New Orleans, it really lives up to its reputation. We saw all the pre Mardi Gras nightlife on Bourbon Street, went to the Voodoo Museum, visited St Louis cathedral, cafe du monde, HUGE ASS BEERS and 'handgrenades', went to the Lafeyette Cemetary, listened to loads of blues and jazz, saw girls flash for beads, crazy car parking, boats still on the highways, cars in piles, reconstruction and devistation. You really can see the lack of interest from the US government in its clear discrimination towards the poorer areas, some only received power last week, 6 months after the storm, some still have none. It was a great trip though, Val and Kay flew over to see me from San Fran, Jasons mate Justin flew down from D.C, and we all made the most of every moment. Too many "handgrenades" and music added to the fun. I really cant sum it all up in the few photos i have posted. But all in all - it was a blast. I would recommend it to anyone. oh and p.s. we blew a tire on the way there, in the pouring rain.... damn hire cars and them not being able to survive a pot hole the size of a small car, couldnt help but laugh at the whole situation though. Anyway, after 6 days of craziness im going to bed. Night. XXXXX

Happy Birthday Stiffy

Oh and as I wont get a chance to email from the New Orleans, a big Happy 25th Birthday to my baby brother Steve "Stiffy" Cox, the metal god. X

New Orleans for Mardi Gras

Going to the New Orleans for Mardi Gras, will be back in a week .... YAY ! We are stopping in at Tallahassee tonight. Val and Kay are flying over to meet me from San Fran and then the party begins. Looking forward to seeing Bourbon street but also to try to get a glimps of the devestation. Chould be an intersting week. Hopefully the weather will behave and we wont have to evac to Texas.

and to quote the chillis ("Apache Rose Peacock")

"Sittin' on a sack of beans, Sittin' down in New Orleans, You wouldn't believe what I've seen, Sitting on that sack of beans. Lunatics on pogo sticks, Another southern fried freak on a crucifix, Hicks don't mix with politics, People on the street just kickin' to the licks. Yes my favorite place to be Is not a land called Honah Lee, Mentally or physically, I wanna be in New Orleans. Oh good brother just when I thought, That I had seen it all, My eyes popped out, my dick got hard, And I dropped my jaw, I saw a bird walkin down the block, Name Apache Rose Peacock, I could not speak I was in shock, I told my knees to please not knock, A little boy came along, Name of Louis Armstrong, Said that girl who left me silly, She liked the looks of me and my willy, So I found her in the quarter, Good God how I adored her, Oh she made me feel so cozy, When she told me I could call her Rosey, I kiss your hair your skin so bare, I'll take you with me girl anywhere, You fare well in stormy weather, I never met a girl that I liked better, Twinkle, twinkle little star, Shining down on my blue car, Drivin' down the boulevard, She was soft and I was hard, Apache Rose gotta rockin' peacock, Hottest ass on the goddamn block, Rockin' to the beat of the funky ass meters, She has one of those built in heaters, Voodoo gurus casting their spells, Cockatoo drag queens shakin' their bells, Silver sound escapes the trumpet, Watch your leg someone might hump it, Chicken strut your butt let's rock, Gettin' it on under your frock, Flowing like a flame all through the night, My girl's insane but it's all right"
