Sigur Ros Tix !!!!!!!

Fi just bought me tickets to Sigur Ros for my birthday, she found out as i was buying them ! HA HA... They are now sold out after being on sale for 3 hours (talk about a lucky random ticketmaster checkup) I'm jumping up and down from excitement, i missed the last tour and vowed not to miss the next one, if they ever returned to Oz from Iceland... i guess i had better be home by April 11th then.

Porshe Heaven

An aquantence of Jasons ownes a little over $5,000,000 worth of Porsche's, including a $1.2M one of a kind built for him by Porsche... I got to have a squiz at the collection today... New, Old, Rare and Shinny... all impressive.. and i dont even like cars... but I thought dad might get a kick out of it.

Merry Belated Christmas in the Bahamas

So on Thursday evening, on a whim, we changed our plans for Christmas and went to the Bahamas instead, on Friday morning we were on the cruise ship (only 10 hours after we changed our minds)... We stayed at the Viva Fortuna Resort, it was right on the beach on Grand Bahama Island. Not much really else to tell you from there, all booze and food was included so "if you like Pina Coladas......." it was one cocktail after the other for 4 days. Christmas was much of the same, sitting on the beach, with cocktails and book. Nice. I just got back and strangely enough, im pooped. So Bah Humbug and all that Christmas bollocks.

Bahamas for Christmas

So after a change of plans, tomorrow morning, Jason and I are jumping on a cruise ship and heading off to the Bahamas for Christmas... only 5 days but should be great.

Exploding Glitter Mail

So i got a letter in the mail from Fi which was nice, unfortunately it was laced with about a kilo of glitter. Excitedly I opened it, only to spill it all over the floor, bed, cat and myself. This is not easy shyte to clean up !

International Waters Gambling

So gambling in Florida is illegal, but the loop hole is that international waters are 9 miles out to sea. So we boarded a gambling boat that took us out past the border and we spent the evening under a slowly shrinking pile of chips. I turned $50 into $145, but unfortunately that is as high as the pile got, i walked away with dramatically less... oh well, I guess I wont be making my first million on black jack. Fun night though, concidering it was all for free and a balmy night on the water.

Greyhounds and Broken Beers

So we went to the greyhounds.... lets just say that my pick of the day (Husker Santiago #5) was a complete DOG !... she was at 99-1... i thought at those odds, i could afford to put $2 on her, in the hope of winning $200... and suprise suprise she came in dead last.... Bitch.... ha ha ha... get it... bitch... !? nice day concidering it is winter, sitting out in the sun screaming at dogs... i was kinda hoping one of them could catch the rabbit.... alas no.
Afterwards we went out to the press box for a bunch of beers... when my beer landed in my lap i had assumed jason had knocked it all over me as i went to drink it, but unfortunately the bottom of the glass had fallen out completely, spilling an entire beer all over me.. HA HA HA... the bar was so concerned that i had cut myself or that i would sue that they didnt charge us for any beers... NICE !... i wish the bottom of my beer would fall out more often... it was a clean shear too, wasnt sharp at any point... spooky...

Well its funny who you meet... this is Rachel, she is a Playboy Playmate, I got to detail her car today... I wish I could sayI was mixing with the rich and famous, but alas... just the semi-famous. Oh well.... a good day for all. For winter it doesn't get below 70 here (thats about 19c) all good !

Breaking into Universal Studios

So Jason is a part time actor (apparantly) and has appeared on a bunch of shows that no one has ever seen before.... but, because of his connections we were able to get live studio audience seats for the pilot filming of some crap new show, so, being that it was so crap, instead of sticking around we snuck out and escaped into the Universal Studios theme park, we spent all out time on the rides and scaring little children. We had a fun day to say the least, this was the best photo i could get before i nearly dropped it off the rollercoaster........ x

Sunny Florida

So Friday night I arrived in a very warm and welcoming Florida, I was greeted at the airport by my old mate Jason, I cant believe it's been 5 years. When asking him what his car is he says "it's the little blue one over there".... it's a Porche 911 convertable... ha ha ha.... so I have that to drive around now, lucky i organised that international drivers licence. Jason is a car detailer so im helping him out with a few jobs and was lucky enough to pop my detailing cherry on a brand spanking new Ferarri (photo above)... do you think i did a good job ?.... it's shinny !
His wife Andrea is great, they are both really accomoding people. Im a little unsure how long i will be here, it really depends on a few issues, but I'd like to go to the New Orleans for Mardi Gras mid January, plus Jasons family is in Atlanta, and of course we will do a bit of tearing around through Florida. So i have plenty of stuff to keep me busy. We are also talking about sky diving, the bahamas and a few other crazy suggestions... so i will try to keep everyone up to date on this slightly confusing adventure. Heading off to Orlando tomorrow to be on a game show... lets hope i win a million bucks $$$$$$$$$$ !!!
